Things were looking pretty bleak after the first few innings as the Kansas City Royals had taken an 8-3 lead into the top of the fourth. Suddenly, and without warning, the bats of the Orioles started to come to life, and 6 runs were tacked on to give the O’s the lead. It’s currently 11-8 in the bottom of the eighth, the O’s are still winning, and Jorge Julio is pitching with 2 outs. Fortunately for those that would have been in earshot of me, I wasn’t able to watch the first couple of innings in which the Royals mounted their early lead.
