I’m still upset over the loss last night. There’s no excuse for it, especially for a first-place team. Grrr.
Tonight, Bruce Chen looks to at least help the O’s win the series. The Orioles have not lost a series away from home this season. They are 6-0-2, winning 6, and splitting 2. I hope Chen can go 9 full innings, or at least 8 so that B.J. can come in and shut things down. Of course, that depends on us having a lead late in the game…
@8:55 pm - I’ve been watching since the 3rd, but I’m so bummed about the way things are looking that I don’t have the energy to comment. I’m putting my energy to good use, by working on the site. Let’s go O’s!
@8:58 pm - WOW. Tejada must have heard me!
One run in, time for more!
@9:05 pm - It wasn’t a good result, but I have to give props to B.J. Surhoff for his attempt to drag a bunt and get on base. If he would have hit it a little harder, it would have been perfect. That guy always gives everything he has to his team.
@9:20 pm - Yeah, I’ll say it: Our bullpen sucks. At least they do when we need them to step up. When we’re dominating a game, somehow they’re able to clean up. I think I need to stop watching these games…
