This one is for you, Meg.
It looks like Daylight-Saving Time is going to be extended! An energy bill is currently being negotiated by the House and Senate that includes an amendment to extend the amount of daylight-saving time by starting three weeks earlier, on the second Sunday in March, and ending one week later, on the first Sunday in November. Rep. Ed Markey, D-Mass., states that the reason for this adjustment to daylight-saving time is because “we all just feel sunnier after we set the clocks ahead.” The legislation is expected to be passed next week.
