Rockin’ Maddy

March 21st, 2007 Baby Videos

Nana brought out the Maddy-sized rocking chair when we were visiting this past weekend, and Maddy quickly got the idea of how it worked. These videos show Maddy’s later attempts at climbing up into the chair (I get a little jumpy when I think the chair is about to fall over backwards in one of the videos) and Maddy doing her best attempt to “rock” herself…

Maddy’s mailbag

March 5th, 2007 Baby Videos

While Grandma and Grandpa were in Florida on vacation, they sent Maddy a postcard with Mickey and Minnie pictured on the front. And even though we’re trying to teach Maddy about different types of animals, she saw the postcard and thought that it was a picture of her favorite animal, and excitedly said hello to the “doggies!” This video shows Maddy taking Mickey and Minnie on a walk around the kitchen…

Chatty Maddy!

March 24th, 2007 Baby Videos

Maddy and I were hanging out this past weekend when she decided to start reading to me from one of her books while walking around the room. :) I love hearing her chatter, so I captured some of it on video!

Maddy gets a dog!

March 27th, 2007 Baby Videos

Since our little girl is quite fond of man’s best friend, Meg bought a Fisher-Price “Lil’ Snoopy” for her to play with! This video shows Maddy spending her first moments with Snoopy, in which she carries it around (she’s not quite familiar with the leash yet), pets it, and gives it kisses. It’s only a matter of time before we have to get her a real dog… ;)
